Batch Plot Output Appears Blurry in PDF and Physical Print
Issue:
When using the Batch Plot command, the output appears blurry, particularly for line text. This issue can be observed in both:
- Exported PDF files
- Physical printouts
Additionally, there may be inconsistencies between the output of the Plot command and the Batch Plot command.
Cause:
This behavior may be related to the selected PDF preset or output configuration, which affects how the drawing is rendered during batch processing.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
- Run the Batch Plot command to publish the drawing.
- Select "Publish to" PDF.
- Change the preset to “AutoCAD PDF (Web and Mobile)."

- Publish the file and verify.
An example of the incorrect output (blurry text/lines) is shown with the issue description.
Try selecting the different preset options and verify the output.
Additional Notes:
- PDF presets control rendering parameters such as resolution, vector/raster output, and compression, which directly impact the clarity of text and linework.
- PDF output can sometimes be improved by adjusting viewer settings; however, this does not affect physical print quality.
- Physical print quality depends directly on the rendering configuration used during plotting.
