Configure Motor/Pump Adapter to Search by Model Code

Overview

By default, the Motor/Pump Adapter component type belongs to the Motor/Pump Adapter component group. This group uses the configurator-based search, where the adapter is selected based on the motor and pump parameters.

If you prefer to search Motor/Pump Adapters directly by Model Code, similar to Directional Valves, Couplings, and other standard components, you can change the component group assigned to the Motor/Pump Adapter component type.

Configuration Steps

1. Open HyDraw Library Manager.
   
2. Select the Component Types tab.
   
3. Locate and select Motor/Pump Adapter from the list of available component types.
   
4. In the Selected Component Type Properties pane, change the Component Group to Coupling Set or Miscellaneous.
   
5. Save the changes.
   

Result

After changing the component group, newly inserted Motor/Pump Adapter symbols will use the standard component search, allowing users to search directly by Model Code instead of using the Motor/Pump Adapter configurator.
