"Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string" error message due to Finnish regional settings

When attempting to add a symbol to the library within HLM or HyDraw CAD, an error message is displayed, stating, "Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string". This issue can be experienced by SQL database user only.

                                                                                    

The conversion problem arises from the Finnish regional settings, where a different date and time format is being used.

                                                                                     

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below.

1. Go to Control Panel -> Clock and Region and select the Change date, time, or number formats.

2. From the Region dialog box -> Formats tab, select Additional Settings.

3. From Customize Format dialog box -> Time tab -> Time Formats group, change the time separator from dot(.) to colon(:).

4. Similarly go to Date tab and change the date separator from dot(.) to dash(-).
