Datasheet will not open if the data sheet is linked using a shared network path (without mapping)
There is currently a technical limitation of HyDraw CAD.
When the root path is defined directly from network location (without mapping the network path), open datasheet from Library Explorer using View datasheet gives error "file doesn't exist". However, data file will open from Property Manager after inserting the symbol.
