How to Add a New Display Format to a Connection Line
Follow the steps below to create a new display format for connection lines in HyDraw Library Manager:
- Open the Model Properties of the Connections in HyDraw Library Manager.
- From the property list, select any property that you want to display (e.g., Nominal Size).
- Enable the checkbox "Available for Display Format" and save the changes.
The selected property (e.g., Nominal Size) will now be available as an option in the connection line display format. - Navigate to the Display Formats section of the Connections.
- In the Display Format page:
• Click New to create a new display format.
• Provide a Display Name.
• Select one or more properties to link.
• Add prefix or suffix as needed.
• Click Save. - Go to the Connector section of the Connections.
- Select any connector and add the newly created display format to it.
The created display format will be available to show or hide in the display settings for connection lines in HyDraw CAD.
