How to import HyDraw CAD setting from old version to HyDraw CAD 2024

When attempting to import HyDraw CAD settings from one version to another, users may encounter an error indicating that the setting file is invalid. This issue arises because the exported file has a different name.

For instance, when exporting settings from HyDraw CAD 2021, the generated file is named HyDrawCAD2021Settings.zip. However, when attempting to import this file into HyDraw CAD 2024, the program expects a file named HyDrawCAD2024Settings.zip. Consequently, the program reports the setting file as invalid.

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, users should rename the settings file by replacing the version name with the target version. For example, if a user intends to import settings into HyDraw CAD 2024, they should rename the setting file to HyDrawCAD2024Settings.zip. By ensuring the file name matches the version of the software being used, the import process will proceed without errors.
