How to sync HyDraw libraries?

The Local and Corporate library option enables you to easily switch between two libraries. Following are the two typical use cases:

  1. HyDraw users want to use two libraries, a Corporate library shared between all locations with common data, and a Local library with data specific to the location.

  2. HyDraw users want to copy the library to a local machine and use it while travelling. They need to easily switch to the shared corporate library while they are on the premises.

Performance of Library in WAN/VPN

There is no solution in HyDraw, for the performance issue in using the library from WAN/VPN. This is a well known issue with data sharing over WAN/VPN and Micosoft developed tools like FRS & DFS to workaround the issue.SyncToy is another well-known tol used for file system replication.

If you have a performance issue in using the library from WAN/VPN, then we recommend you to replicate the library on the local server and point HyDraw to the library on the local server. Use any of the file system replication tools available in the market to maintain the replicated file system. Link to the two commonly used tools is given below.
