HyDraw CAD installation stuck at Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Error
Issue: While trying to Install HyDraw CAD 2021, the installation stops at Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 and unable to install HyDraw CAD 2021.
Troubleshooting:
1. Downloaded HyDraw CAD 2021.
2. Tried to run the setup, it stops at Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019.
3. Click Ok, it gives the below error.
4. Checked the Permissions in C:\ProgramData and C:\VEST and give the full control.
5. Browsed the location C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{A94EC….}, however there is no file with the name {A94EC…}.
6. Uninstalled all Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable, Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019/2022 Redistributable versions,
7. Tried to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 from the extracted setup from the following location, however installing HyDraw CAD is giving same issue or VC runtime installation is also failing.
C:\VEST \HyDraw-CAD2021.0.0.9-R-X64-EN\3rdParty\x64\VCRedist\2019
8. Tried to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 externally, however issue remains same.
Recommended Solutions:
Solution 1
1. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 from the below link: -
2. Right click VC redistx64.exe and select Troubleshoot compatibility.
3. Dialog pops up, select Try Recommended settings, and then select Test the Program. Please continue the download from the prompt. If it is already installed, please repair it.
4. Restart the machine.
5. Try to install HyDraw CAD 2021.
Solution 2
1. Download the Trouble shooter from below link: -
2. Run the setup and select Installing.
3. Select the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 and click Uninstall.
4. Rerun the setup and similarly uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2019.
5. Restart the machine.
6. Try to install HyDraw CAD 2021 and complete the Installation.
7. HyDraw CAD installs successfully and should work fine.
