If I lose my internet connection, will I also lose my license?
- Standalone licenses will not lose their license regardless of internet connection for HyDraw CAD 2021 and earlier.
- For HyDraw CAD 2022 and beyond, Standalone licenses will be checked out from the license server each month for up to a year in the future (if applicable). For this check out, an internet connection is required. For regular usage, an internet connection is not required.
- Network licenses check periodically for a license hosted on the server. If the internet connection is lost, HyDraw CAD will lose its license when it does its license check.
- Switching between a wired and wireless connection while HyDraw CAD is open will cause it to lose its network license when it does its license check.
