Net List Command Does Not Include Symbols Outside the Envelope

Description

When using the Net command in HyDraw CAD, the net list may not generate correctly, or some symbol ports may be missing if symbols or their ports are placed outside the envelope boundary.
This behavior is commonly observed when creating manifold or surface-mounted valve representations. 

Cause

The Net command only recognizes:
  1. Entities fully located inside the envelope, or
  2. Entities whose ports lie on the envelope boundary (surface mounted valve).
If symbols are placed completely outside the envelope, the Net command may fail to include them correctly in the generated net list.

Solution

To ensure proper net generation, use one of the following methods:
  1. Move the symbols completely inside the envelope.
    or
  2. Modify the symbol representation so that:
  3. the symbol is enclosed within an envelope, or
  4. the ports lie on the envelope boundary.
      This approach is commonly used to represent surface-mounted valves.
