Required Domains, Ports, and IP Addresses for VNLM Server

Overview

Vest Network License Manager (VNLM) requires communication with FlexNet Operations for license activation, return, and license management functions. In environments where outbound internet access is restricted, the required domains, ports, and IP ranges must be allowed through the firewall.

Required Port

HTTPS Communication
Port: 443
Communication to the VNLM server is performed over the standard HTTPS port (443).

Required Domain

Please ensure that the following URL/domain is accessible from the license server and allowed through the external firewall:
Domain: flex1360.flexnetoperations.com

Alternative IP Ranges

If domain-based allow rules cannot be used, the following IP ranges may be allowed instead:
IPv4 Block: 185.146.155.64/27
Range: 185.146.155.64 to 185.146.155.94
IPv6 Block: 2620:122:f005::/56

Client Communication

Port: 7075 (Default)
Port 7075 should be open for communication between MDTools/HyDraw and the VNLM server.
