Simplified DWG comes in to SolidWorks or Inventor with circle in place of hatch
Problem:
When using the Simplify DWG command, opening the DWG file in SolidWorks or Inventor results in a circle appearing where hatching should appear:
Solution:
Open the original file and edit the symbols that have the error appearing within SolidWorks or Inventor.
Select the hatching and open the properties palette.
Ensure that the Associative property is set to 'Yes'
If the hatching is not set to yes, delete the hatch and recreate it within the enclosed space. When automatically creating within the space, the hatch should be associative, however the steps above can confirm for accuracy.
