Upon trying to change the background color of the model space, the dialog does not appear

Problem:

Upon selecting the colors option within the AutoCAD options, no dialog appears:

Solution:

There are multiple solutions to this problem. The first solution to try should be to locate the dialog. This can be done by using the ALT+SPACE shortcut and then typing the letter M on the keyboard. This selects the invisible dialog and allows you to click and drag the dialog into a viewable area.

If this does not work, a repair can be done through the uninstall dialog of HyDraw CAD. Repairing HyDraw CAD should reinstate the default settings that were available upon installation of the application. This can be accessed by right-clicking on the application within the programs and features section of the control panel and selecting uninstall:
