When trying to access the HyDraw CAD Network License an error is received stating that the Host ID mismatches

When viewing the log file, the following is stated:

Unable to handle request for feature HyDrawCAD 2022 count=1. Reason: FEATURE_SERVER_HOST_ID_MISMATCH

In FlexNet portal, View Server Requests is also displaying the below message:


In this scenario, the MAC Address has changed within the server hosting the license. To regain access to the licenses, follow the steps below:
  1. Mark the old Activation ID obsolete in FNO. (HyDraw Support will do)
  2. Create a new Activation ID (HyDraw Support will do)
  3. Ensure that the MAC address of the machine is Static.
  4. Stop the Vest Network License Manager (VNLM) on the Server and Exit.
  5. Restart Vest Network License Manager (VNLM) 
  6. Generate the new Activation ID and activate Vest Network License Manager with the new Activation ID provided.
In some cases, users encounter error below while activating the license with new Activation ID.


Solution
          1. Exit the Vest Network License Manager from System tray.
          2.  Delete all the files from this folder: C:\ProgramData\flexnetsas\VESTInc.
          3. Delete all the files from this folder too: C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\flexnetls\VESTInc
          4. Start the server. (It will take time around 2-3 minutes).
          5.  Try activating the License again using the new Activation ID provided.
