Why do dashed lines in symbol appear as continuous lines in the drawing?

Why do dashed lines in symbol appear as continuous lines in the drawing?

This may happen if the line type scale factor is too high. Change the line type scale to make the lines appear as dashed lines.

On the command line type “LTS (LTSCALE)”and press Enter.

The command line will display the current line type scale, enter a new line type scale factor.

Enter a lower line type scale value, for e.g. 0.2.
